Welcome to Trezor Setup

1. Before you begin

Have your Trezor device, USB cable & computer ready. Ensure your network is secure.

2. Visit the official site

Go to https://trezor.io/start. Make sure the URL is correct and you see the lock icon in your browser.

3. Download Trezor Suite

Download the Trezor Suite app for your OS (Windows/macOS/Linux). Only use official links.

4. Connect & update firmware

Plug your Trezor device into your computer. If firmware update is prompted, follow instructions carefully until complete.

5. Create or recover your wallet

Choose Create New Wallet or Recover Existing. If new, write down your recovery seed (12-24 words) on paper and store it securely.

6. Set PIN & Optional Passphrase

Set a secure PIN on the device itself. For advanced users, enable passphrase protection for an extra wallet layer.

7. Final security checklist

Keep your recovery seed offline and offline only.
Never share your seed or PIN with anyone.
Regularly update firmware and software.
